We had a table read last night for the short film I'm going to be in. It was a lot of fun! Went out for a drink afterwards with a cast member, the two writers (that are also directing), and the AD. It was so amazing. I'm such a firm believer in divine timing, and the universe always guides you to where you are supposed to be when you're supposed to be there. It's such a beautiful thing.

update

So, I love my class! I did a Sandra Bullock monologue from While You Were Sleeping. I'm not even going to judge myself on how I did because there's no point - I know I'll get a lot better as class progresses. Anyway, we're studying the Meisner technique and I'm really into it. I've been having my fiancé do his repetition exercise with me every night haha that's been fun! Basically, putting your focus on the other actor and your surroundings allows for you to react honestly and impulsively and that leads to a more realistic performance. Tomorrow night we're going to be given scene work with a partner and I'm psyched.

On Sunday I went for my first audition for a part in a short film. I don't know when they're choosing who gets the part, but whether I get it or not, I'm excited that I even got to go on the audition! The guys didn't believe it was my first one, so I guess that's a good thing. Either that or they were yanking my chain lol I don't care, I had a blast.

A few of my favorite actresses. Reason for this post is that I need some inspiration! I'm starting an acting class tonight and I am beyond nervous. I need a monologue and I can't decide what to do... yikes. We'll be studying Meisner. The books I've read were about the method, but I've heard/read that the method and Meisner complement each other well so we shall see. lol Wish me luck!!!

Being one who loves to read and write, I’ve always craved a beautiful desk space. I definitely veer toward glass and spaces with lots of storage.

This is just so chic and clean and simple and I loooove it. You can’t go wrong with white!

Obsessed with how large this desk is. Glass just looks so sleek and opens up a room, too so it works double duty. Fantastic.

This desk seems to have a mirrored surface and I am so into it. This can be a really simple DIY project!

This desk looks as if it could be made rather easily, as well. You can get a very high end look for a fraction of the price.

I can’t wait to do these projects with Lovey and make a home.

I’ve always been partial to square nails. Whenever my nails were long, I’d square them off to perfection and I’d be soo proud of myself, but now I’m beyond obsessed with oval nails! I got my nails done almost 3 months ago and I still cannot stop staring at them… they’re beautiful! So feminine yet so fucking cool!
